Billing and wallet

Top-ups, credits, settlement, auto-refill, and what happens when funds run out.

Trylle maintains a wallet for each personal or organization account that pays for metered CI and hosted AI after included credits are exhausted.

Balance types

BalanceSourceBehavior
Category creditMonthly plan allowanceRestricted to CI or AI; resets each UTC month
Promotional creditTrylle promotionMay be unrestricted; spent before prepaid funds
Hard balanceCard top-up or auto-refillPrepaid wallet funds that remain until spent

Top up

Open the account switcher, choose the personal account or organization, and open its billing settings. Add a payment method and choose a top-up amount.

Auto-refill

Auto-refill charges the saved payment method when available balance drops below your configured threshold. Choose both the trigger threshold and refill amount. Keep the refill amount large enough to cover pending work but small enough to bound an unexpected workload.

Settlement

Usage accumulates as pending charges and settles every minute. A zero wallet can still run work while category credit remains. A negative wallet blocks new CI and hosted AI until a top-up restores solvency.

Credits are not cash

Plan and promotional credits cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another category, or refunded as wallet funds.
